Maximizing Minimal Space

February 02, 2015 by Cate Grosch in small spaces

The truth is...with small spaces, you should use ALL of it.  The mistake many people make is trying to buy "small" furniture to fit a "small" space.  The result is often a small space that feels too mini to accommodate actual humans.

The best way to maximize a minimal space is to use furniture that uses all the space available.  In this small patio, we found furnishings on jossandmain.com .  The setee extends to nearly the entire width of the patio, and the two chairs allow enough space to pass through.. but not much more.  The result is a space the owners can actually use.

We also don't believe in over-styling or complicating small spaces.  This patio has a setee, a table and two chairs.  The accessories include two lanterns to give off warmth and light, a couple of pillows and hopefully a delicious drink in your hand. Cheers!
